Official copies of re-survey field notes created by the federal Bureau of Land Management and its predecessor, the General Land Office, since the close of the original survey. Re-surveys are conducted to re-establish lost survey lines, correct erroneous surveys, and add omitted survey lines and features encountered and are used by surveyors in retracing property boundaries.
